Own-CNIC checks only · Reviewed 29 September 2026 · Jazz’s self-check codes, each with its source
Jazz SIM owner details come from the SIM itself: send MNP to 667 from the Jazz or Warid SIM in your phone, and the reply gives the name it is registered under and a part-masked CNIC, sometimes with the activation date. No Jazz code, helpline or app reveals the registered owner of a number that is not in your hand. The sections below cover what else a Jazz line can tell its holder, and where each other Jazz task is handled.
Jazz SIM owner name check code: MNP to 667
The Jazz SIM owner name check code is 667, and ProPakistani’s Jazz guide of 10 March 2020 says the service is charged; the only figure on Jazz’s code, help and FAQ pages, Rs 2 plus tax per SMS, sits in the FAQ’s steps for porting a number into Jazz.
What each field of the reply means, the activation date included, is explained in every field in the 667 reply, including what the activation date means.
Roman Urdu mein: Jazz SIM kis ke naam par hai, yeh jaanne ka SIM check karne ka poora tarika alag page par hai.
Jazz’s 30-day window to dispute a change of ownership
If a Jazz number or SIM was moved into another name without your consent, Jazz’s FAQ accepts a dispute within 30 days of that change, with supporting evidence, and turns away any dispute lodged after 30 days. Jazz’s written complaint route, which takes an attachment as evidence, is in the helpline table below.

Jazz number check code: *99# and Jazz’s other self-check codes
The Jazz number check code is *99#: dialled from a Jazz SIM it shows that SIM’s number, Jazz prints it on its Smart Tips page under “How to check Jazz number”, which makes it operator-published, and ProPakistani’s guide of 10 March 2020 says the check is not charged.
| Code | Jazz’s label | Where Jazz prints it | Charge Jazz prints |
|---|---|---|---|
| *111# | Check balance of prepaid number | Smart Tips and Self-Service Dial Codes | None printed |
| *1111# | Check balance of postpaid number | Smart Tips and Self-Service Dial Codes | None printed |
| *444# | Bundles/account details for Prepaid | Smart Tips, Self Service and Self-Service Dial Codes | None printed |
| *446# | Bundles/account details for Postpaid | Smart Tips, Self Service and Self-Service Dial Codes | None printed |
| *444*6*2# | Active package on a prepaid number | FAQ | Free of cost |
| *#06# | IMEI Check (your handset’s IMEI) | Smart Tips | None printed |
How to dial an own-number code from the right slot of a dual-SIM phone, and the code for every other network with its grade, is set out in SIM number check code for every network.
*44*6*1#: a string Jazz does not publish
*44*6*1# is printed on none of Jazz’s code, help or FAQ pages (its Smart Tips list, its Self Service page, its Self-Service Dial Codes tables and its FAQ), so nothing on them says what it does; the similar-looking code Jazz does print is *446#, in the table above.
Jazz SIM verification status: the 6001 code PTA lists
PTA’s undated verification-status listing gives 6001 as the Mobilink code for checking a CNIC’s verification status, Mobilink being Jazz’s former name: the CNIC is entered as the text of a message sent from a SIM registered on that same CNIC, and no current Jazz or PTA page confirms that the service still replies.
6001 appears on none of Jazz’s own code, dial-code, help or FAQ pages, so its grade is PTA-listed rather than operator-published.
How to verify an existing SIM again, and when that is needed, is covered in SIM re-verification at the counter.
Warid SIM owner details: a Warid SIM is a Jazz line
A Warid SIM is a Jazz line today: Warid merged into Mobilink in late 2015, and Mobilink gave up its name for Jazz in February 2017, with Jazz representing the merged operations of both (Dawn, 7 February 2017).
The company behind the brand is Pakistan Mobile Communications Limited (PMCL), wholly owned by VEON since March 2021. PTA’s verification-status listing gives Warid lines an entry of their own, apart from the Mobilink code 6001 above.
Under PTA’s National Numbering Plan 2008 the two networks were given access codes 30 (Mobilink) and 32 (Warid), so Mobilink numbers begin 030 and Warid numbers 032; what a number’s prefix and 76367 can tell you today is on the number details page.
The number check code for a Warid SIM is covered in Warid number check code.
Jazz helpline, WhatsApp and SIMOSA: what each channel handles
Jazz’s helpline is 111 from a prepaid Jazz line, 777 from a postpaid Jazz line and 0 111 300 300 from any network, and its other channels are a WhatsApp self-service line, the SIMOSA app and a written complaint form.
| Channel | What Jazz lists it for |
|---|---|
| 111 | Package information, balance check, usage and consumption detail, bundle activation and internet settings |
| 777 | Package and bill information, payment history, bill payment by scratch card and account status |
| 0 111 300 300 | The same helpline; Jazz’s contact page also shows it as 111 300 300 after the city codes 021, 042 and 051 |
| WhatsApp: send “Hi” to 0300 300 8000 | Bundles, balance, package and tariff details and recharge for prepaid lines; billing, invoices and bill payment for postpaid lines |
| SIMOSA app, formerly Jazz World (Android and iOS) | Bills and payment, invoices, bundles and tax certificates; the channel Jazz names for complaints about packages, bundles, JazzCash, deductions and signal, which it says it answers within 12 hours |
| Write to Us form on Jazz’s Contact Us page, or [email protected] | Written complaints, with a JPG, PNG or PDF attachment; its complaint types include illegal transfer of connection or ownership, illegal use of a CNIC, and fraudulent or obnoxious calls and SMS |
| Jazz franchise or Experience Centre | Counter services that need your fingerprint, in person with your original CNIC; find one through Jazz franchise near me |
Jazz SIM call and usage history on your own line: SIMOSA, WhatsApp and *7050#
Jazz’s FAQ gives a prepaid customer three ways to see their own usage and call history, all with no charge: using the View history screen in SIMOSA, Account Details then Call-Recharge History on Jazz’s WhatsApp line, or the code *7050#, which Jazz’s dial-code table labels as the last three days’ usage details; a postpaid customer uses SIMOSA or the codes *1111# and *2222#. A SIM’s live location is a separate matter, covered in what a SIM tracker can and cannot follow.
Jazz SIM price at the counter: new, postpaid and replacement
Jazz’s FAQ prices a new prepaid SIM from Rs 350, a new postpaid SIM from Rs 350 plus a refundable security deposit of at least Rs 1,100 that varies by price plan, and a replacement SIM at Rs 550, prepaid or postpaid; a number you choose is charged by its category.
Jazz SIM owner name by CNIC: no such check exists
No official check returns Jazz SIM owner names from a CNIC: none of Jazz’s code, help or FAQ pages offers a CNIC lookup, and PTA’s CNIC-based count, 668, answers how many SIMs are on my CNIC for each network, not whose names they carry.
The registered name is read from each SIM separately, with the 667 text above.
Someone else’s Jazz number: Caller Name versus the registered owner
Jazz Caller Name, a paid subscription started by dialling *7773#, flashes the name of an unknown incoming caller when its crowd-sourced database holds one; Jazz’s terms say that data is not from Jazz’s customer database, so it gives a crowd-sourced caller name, not access to the registered owner’s name, CNIC or address.
Obtaining another person’s identity information without authorisation is an offence under PECA 2016 section 16.

Other Jazz SIM tasks, and the page that covers each
Blocking, transferring, disowning, porting or converting a Jazz SIM each follows its own rules, and each is covered in full on one page of this site.
