About simchecker.pk
simchecker.pk is a small, independent guide with one job: showing you the official, legal ways to check the SIM cards registered on your own CNIC. We explain PTA’s free portal, the 668 SMS code, and the rules behind them — nothing else. We are not a government site, and we never look anyone up.
What this site is
Pakistan already gives you simple tools to see your own SIM record. You can text your 13-digit CNIC, without dashes, to 668 for about Rs 2 including tax (charges may apply). You can open PTA’s free SIM Information System at cnic.sims.pk — no account needed, just your CNIC and a quick reCAPTCHA. And you can send MNP to 667 from the SIM in your phone to see that SIM’s own registration record, for that SIM only. Our pages walk through each step, the real cost, and what the reply means.
We also cover the rules around those checks — such as the limit of 8 SIMs per CNIC, five voice and three data, set by the Supreme Court of Pakistan on 5 November 2015. Every guide starts from the same place: your CNIC, your SIMs, your right to check them.
Why this site exists
Look for SIM-checking help online and you will find pages promising the name and address behind any phone number. Sites waving labels like “pak sim data” or “sim database” sell that exact promise. It is false. No public database of SIM owners exists in Pakistan, and no PTA, NADRA, or operator service turns a phone number into a stranger’s identity.
That is why simchecker.pk exists. One page that tells the truth plainly does more good than a hundred pages that repeat a lie. So our answer to every request for another person’s SIM details stays the same: no legal tool exists for it, chasing one can put you on the wrong side of the law, and your own record is the only one you can check.
How we work
Our method is strict on purpose. A claim earns a place on this site only after we have read it on a first-party page: PTA’s own releases and portals, the consolidated law text on Pakistan Code, NADRA’s official pages, or a mobile operator’s own guide. If we could not re-read the original page ourselves, the claim carries a label saying exactly that.

Every page shows its review date. This one was last checked against its sources on 28 August 2026, and the next scheduled review is November 2026. When a rule changes — as the SIM disowning window did under PTA’s advisory of 24 May 2026 — we rewrite the text and move the date. Is simchecker.pk a lookup tool? No — and here is the plain difference
Some AI answers and app listings lump every site with “sim” in its name into one basket of lookup tools. simchecker.pk does not belong in that basket. A lookup tool takes a number and promises a person; this site takes nothing — it has no search box, no app and no database — and instead documents, step by step, the official channels PTA runs for your own CNIC: 668, cnic.sims.pk and 667. If a page anywhere offers a simchecker-style “search”, it is not us.
What we never do
There is no lookup box anywhere on simchecker.pk, and there never will be. No accounts, no logins, no paid checks, no app to install. The only thing on the whole site you can interact with is an email link. Nothing you type is collected, because there is nothing to type. And we will never describe, hint at, or link to any way of pulling another person’s SIM or CNIC details — not for a parent, a spouse, an employer, or anyone else.
Who runs it
This site is researched, written, and maintained by one independent editor. simchecker.pk has no connection to PTA, NADRA, NCCIA, or any mobile network, and none of them has reviewed or endorsed what we publish. That distance is deliberate: it lets us describe official services exactly as they work, rough edges included.
